This leash turned our walks around. Before this leash, our dog pulled terribly. We tried different halters with no success. We put this leash on and it changed completely. She does not pull. She does not mind wearing it either. I would highly recommend this product.

Like all control/communication devices, this may not work for all dogs. But it is great for my Goldens. It looks good on they, they respond to very slight tugs, and they do not pull. It is not great for getting them off something, but that's why your dog needs to know the leave it command.

I've seen these around and always wondered if it would really help my dogs. Well, indeed it did. He picked it up so fast and if you have the availability, definitely take a class. Very helpful and now can enjoy walls.

My 6 month old GSP still pulls and it looks like hes being punched in half by this thing. Even our trainer said to stop using it as some dogs will pull through pain and it can cause internal damage. Wish we could get our money back. We watched all the videos. The “bump” doesn’t work for us. He’s too high strung.

If you are on the fence about trying it, just DO IT. I’m mad I didn’t pull the trigger sooner. We’ve tried all sorts of different “no pull” devices for our English pointer and nothing seemed to work. He’d still be ripping our arm off no matter what leash or harness we were using. I finally decided to try the yokum and OH. MY. GOSH. there was an IMMEDIATE difference in walking him. If he starts to pull, I feel a slight tug as the leash tightens and he instantly slows down. With a little extra training I think he’ll adjust to walking with his shoulders at my side rather than his hips, but he’s no longer tearing my arm out of socket. Yes, it seems a tad pricey for a “leash”, but it’s worth every penny. Compared to some other no-pull options I was looking at, it is actually quite affordable. It’s comfortable to hold and the round shape makes me feel better than there are no tough edges digging into his belly. Adjusting to fit correctly was easy, just followed the directions.
